01The project
A 1920s home in Mount Royal needed a kitchen that respected the original wainscoting and crown moulding without pretending the last hundred years did not happen. We drew custom white-oak shaker cabinetry around the existing window proportions, paired honed Calacatta marble with unlacquered brass, and let the bones of the room do most of the work.
